Bre Johnson is an LA native, a Photographer based in Brooklyn, NY, whose work focuses on naturalness and leisure. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in fashion merchandising.

In 2019, she received her first publication in New York Magazine, The Cut, documenting a conceptual dinner series founded by LA-based artist Glenn Kaino and chef Niki Nakayama, as well as Bobbi Salvör Menuez's New food project, Spiral Theory Test Kitchen.

The following year, in 2020, she received her second photo feature in the New York Times.

Since March 2022, she has specialized in high-profile events in the music, fashion, film, and art industries in New York City.

In 2024, PHMuseum featured her among 8 Black Female Photographers to Watch.

As a freelance photographer, her focus is on commercial and editorial portrait photography.
